　　本片讲述了1972年轰动世界的安第斯空难事件中幸存者的故事。1972年10月13日，一架载着乌拉圭橄榄球队的包机在安第斯山脉发生空难；二十多名名困在山上的生还者以死者尸体充饥，在冰天雪地中熬过了十多个星期。12月，其中两名队员步行70多公里下山，终于获得救援。
